How do sick hrs accumulate? Is it 1 for every 40 hrs or 1 for every 25? I’ve heard both(self.starbucksbaristas)

It is currently 1 sick hour for every 25 hours worked. And if someone tells you vacation time accumulates at a rate of 1 hour for every 40, don’t listen to them lol they don’t know what they’re talking about.

Cool thanks! Do you know if we get paid leave if we have covid? My manager knowingly let an employee come to work who had just tested positive and now I’m having symptoms. I’m waiting for test results tho so idk if I have it or not.

No, Covid pay ended about 2 weeks ago. You have to use sick and/or vacation time now.

Ugh okay thank you!

What is the vacation rate? I’ve only heard 40
Specialist_Salt_5078 points9m ago
1-3 years : 1 per 52 hours
3-5 years: 1 per 26 hours
5+ years: 1 per 16 hours

Oh that's why my vacation time builds up so fast. Thanks!

Wait wtf im a three year partner I work 30 hrs a week and literally have only ever gotten 25 vacation hours

It depends on your tenure, but it is a fat rate that does not depend on your weekly hours. I would look it up on the Hub to get an accurate amount and accrual rate for where you live

It’s 25

It just changed I believe, i haven’t had a chance to read the update fully but I saw something about it in this weeks update when I printed it. Double check that as any information here is likely to be outdated
