Partner Discount with App Question (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hey, I'm a new partner, and I searched a bit for this question and didn't find exactly what I was looking for but I don't really know anyone well enough yet (or really at all) to comfortably ask a potentially silly question to them: *If I am in a store that is not my home store, and I want to use my discount, do I have to tell them? Or if I use the connected partner card on the app (which is connected with my numbers on the browser) is that enough for the discount to be applied? Do I have to upload money to that partner card on the app, or can it just be scanned for points?* Thank you in advance, I appreciate any and all advice/information!

As long as it is properly connected, when you scan your card I think it pops up the partner discount screen. It could be the case you need to hit Partner Discount first.
What I do is, I'll say I have partner numbers, and then when they ask I just say "They're on here" and have them scan it. I'll tell them my name while they scan because they'll probably ask. Then it's all good.

I use my partner card (loaded with money) and never mention to the store I'm a partner and it always applies my discount automatically. As long as you've linked your numbers on the website properly, you're good to go.

Dont have to even say anything if you dont want to. I usually give them a heads yo but when they scan the partner card on your app it’ll pop up that youre a partner and usually they just ask to double check and thats it.

i would try scanning your card at your own store to make sure it works just in case. because there was a point where my numbers were in my app but it didn’t give me the discount so i had to redo it. but if it works, they should just be able to scan. & you could probably just scan for points and the discount & pay with card or cash but you’d need to tell them before you scan so that they don’t automatically pay with it.

I just say I have my numbers linked to the app (as long as they scan before pressing the card button you’re gucci, otherwise the discount screen won’t pop up)
