I had an emergency dental work yesterday, and they have me on some strong pain meds. I don’t think I’ll be able to work tomorrow. Is something that will be covered by my sick hours, and something I’ll need to find coverage for?

You can call in sick and do not need to find coverage if you do

yes absolutely. they don’t need more than “I’m sick” as a reason.

Totally. “Sick pay” also applies to any preventative or post service. Even if you just go for a physical at the Drs, you can write in a sick hour request in the punch log. Just had to do that for a blood born pathogen test. (Different story all together.). But yeah. Honestly I’ve never had a SM give a shit what I put down for sick hours.
