I think my stores official policy is one per break then one before and one after. Nobody really pays attention to it but it seems pretty fair to me.

My store used to basically be endless drinks, but now: Free drink 30 minutes before and after shift. One free drink at a time during your shift and take no more than one home. So if you finish one drink you can go get another. Although depending on who’s shift and wether the DM is there it’s basically just endless drinks lol

In poland we have 3 drinks on shift. On my off Days i can come in and drink it for free anyways and just take it as free beverage next shift im on. Ur policy in us sucks man

My store doesn’t limit our free drinks while on the shift, as long as you drink it you’re good. Same goes with taking stuff home when you clock out. As long as you ring it up as your partner stuff you’re good

my old store and new one (MI) both have no limits on free drinks as long as they’re with 30 min before or after your shift!! tbh i barely ever even ring mine up, i just make them

my store allows us to take one drink with us when we leave besides the 2 we get while working.

I’m confused what you mean by “to not allowed to get 1 or more free drinks after your shift ends”… the discount policy is written in the partner resource manual and is not store specific at all. It is a company wide policy. You are eligible for free beverages 30 min before your shift, during your shift, and up to 30 min after your shift. You can only get 1 free beverage per transaction, so you cannot leave your shift with multiple free beverages. I am a store manager.

At my store we can have as many as we want while we are working and only 30 after we clock out
FlowerCurious5811 points9m ago
Nah man hit up your dm and tell him, 39 min before/after and during shift
hotcheetomamii-2 points9m ago
that’s really odd and i don’t think policy has changed. my store still allows us drinks 30 minutes pre and post shift as well as during. a lot of us even mark out a couple drinks after we clock out for family, roommates, etc.

>a lot of us even mark out a couple drinks after we clock out for family, roommates, etc.
This is definitely not allowed lol, I wouldn't be going around talking about how you do that online or any place corporate might monitor.
down vote me if you want or whatever, I guess I have no stake in your future at Starbucks.

if my SM is fine with it then it is allowed :)
MrsClaireUnderwood11 points9m ago
I guess practically speaking, yes.
That SM is risking their own job though.
RosieHarlan3 points9m ago
Eh not really. Corporate monitors and tracks markouts and they can start their own investigation and fire you without your SMs input. I’ve seen it happen a few times for mark out abuse/theft.
