Stores struggling daily: (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by aye_vee_aye
Hello! Is anyone else experiencing stores that just feel like they are on fire. Every week I look at my hours and assume I’ll just have more by the end of the week because of how many people call off, scheduling issues, and sick partners.
I am approaching my one year, and I go back and forth between two stores, I’ve never had a consistent store manager in either store. Is this happening everywhere?
It just feel like my life is consumed with group me notifications asking us to be flexible, and work together to cover shifts. I think we shouldn’t be expected to think this much about work when at home.

You are in the right and being taken advantage of. Talk to a dm or someone High up or maybe consider something else?

I’m not sure about your situation but I know my store is struggling. Our staffing is extremely low, despite the manager’s best efforts to recruit, interview, and hire people.

You should be able to settle in at one store though. Definitely talk to your district manager.
