I was ovens today and one of my favorite coworkers was on POS (she only does POS) and took an order for a lady. She always gets a tall blonde roast in a grande cup with 5 splendas and cream on the side in a short cup.
Anyway, she was making her coffee, and the lady asked “What are you pouring?”. My coworker replies “I’m pouring blonde roast, isn’t that what you always get?”. And this bitch has the audacity to say “It’s your job to know, you should ask.”
Like, what? My coworker didn’t say anything in response to that but after the rude lady left, we were talking about what happened and my coworker says that people are usually happy when we remember their orders and says she never smiles or tips.
Some people just have in their heart to be rude and nothing else.

I hate people. We have a regular that singles out one of my coworkers for no reason. He’s told him “you’re not as pretty as the girls” once

"nauseating. not the coffee of course but all these Baristas here are exceptionally obese and overweight. this gives a bad image to startbucks. what it means is essentially 'drink our coffee and become immensely unattractive'. or 'heart attack guaranteed coffee'.'

One of our (at the time new) regular customers, after about 5 time’s consistently coming in and getting the same drink, I was on POS when he came in. I asked, “would you like your regular?” He said “i don’t know what my regular is, but I’ll have a..[lists off his usual drink]. Really dude? Fine so every time after that i made him say his entire drink. After like 4 years of him coming to the same store, he now tries to strike up conversations with us about his regular drink. Nope. First impressions man.
