Absolutely not. Huge conflict of interest and goes against the close relationship policy
Edit: I’m a sm and we technically shouldn’t even hang out with anyone that we have in store for that reason

Yeah there’s no way that’s allowed. I’m an sm and my roommate is an ssv but we made sure we were in fully separate districts before we moved in together to be real safe. I can’t even imagine living with one of my ssvs, as a side note. No thank you lol love them to death but that would be awful.
IdoItForTheMemez9 points8m ago
No; it's definitely not allowed. Barring some kind of extreme extenuating circumstances, the SM could get in a lot of trouble for this.

Extremely late stage capitalism lol
"Are they in a polycule?"
"No just poor"

No way.
tinseltesseract2 points8m ago
Hard no.
When I was a partner my SM’s girlfriend was an SSV, but they had to both work in different districts + notify the RD iirc.
Living in the same house could probably get all 3 of them fired.

curious about the circumstances here. yes, it’s a huge conflict of interest. On the other hand, if none of these three people are earning enough to not have to share a living space with 2 other people, how is it going to help them to lose their jobs? 3 SSVs I would have an easier time understanding, but the SM (who’s making the most money/has the greatest responsibility here) should probably be the one to find a different living setup.

it actually amazes me how much this matters to people
Flowerfuls6 points8m ago
It’s just bad in general. Something goes bad in their home and they’ll inevitably bring that drama to work. I’ve seen it happen time and time again it’s just not good practice.
Jewicer5 points8m ago
I get that. In hindsight. But to come online, ask if it should be* reported. Have multiple people say “it’s absolutely not acceptable and against policy.” Is weird to me. Maybe I just don’t care enough
Vegan_Sweetie2 points8m ago
Same. I have *no idea* why it matters to people where people live, and whom they live with.
As long as they can keep work and personal life separated—wtf does anyone care?

Especially with the housing/rent crisis nationwide. Absolutely none of my business
