Does Anyone know what License Stores are doing “The Starbucks Connect Program” like what Banners. (i.redd.it)

I work for a Safeway Starbucks, and I’m wondering if anyone knows if The Starbucks Connect Program is going to Apply for the Safeway Starbucks?

I imagine it will eventually. Kroger is already already rolling out the connect system(which is awesome btw), and considering the merger going on between Albertsons and Kroger I bet you'll be getting sooner than later

Also if you don’t me asking, how does it work? Is it a separate computer system, also any chance how the online order are supposed to work; Sorry for asking so much questions

No you're good, I totally get it. It's an all new register, along with label printers which means no more writing on cups, but you do need to add everything for the drink when ringing someone up so it prints on the label. You will have one label printer for drinks in house and one for mobile orders.

The only indication that you have a mobile order is when the label automatically prints out and when the Mobile order tablet indicates so. You make drinks according to the label and follow standard to a T, if they didn't want whip on their mocha or wanted light ice they should've indicated so in the app. On the MOP tablet, you'll have 4 sections/pages, one for received orders, one for preparing orders, one for orders at the hand off stage, and one for closed orders. Each order will go through all four pages in that order and you'll need to select it to move it along.

For us(not sure how Albertsons does training) we had an online program that took us through the workings of the new system and showed just about everything(except MOP annoyingly). But it's all pretty easy to get the hang of after a few shifts

Ok, Albertsons does it as Computer based training too, thank you, now I know what to expect. Also when doing the orders is there a minimum of people that have to be in the kiosk to be able to do online orders.

Ideally there's always 2 if not 3 people. But there have been a number if times I've been alone at my kiosk cause we simply didn't have the people to schedule others

I ask my store operations Specialist(District Manger) and she just said “Coming soon” 😬 abit nervous for online order, but a new POS system sounds nice.
