Minors can only work up to 20 hours, but every barista has to be scheduled at least 12. Not work 12 but be scheduled them by your manager or they'd get in trouble. You could bring it up to your manager or a shift but if you don't feel comfortable doing that you could go over their heads to your district manager for something like this. There wouldn't be any repercussion for you because it is a valid concern.

I think in Canada, minors can only work about 30 hours a week? Don’t know, but there’s no requirements to meet. Shifts can’t do anything, and my manager hasn’t rlly given me much so,, I know there are people who are also having similar struggles with 1 early morning shift a week, is it still worth contacting a DM?

Usually minors can work more than 20 hours… but no more than 32. Well that’s in California at least.
