What is the difference between being in Starbucks corporate and working in the Starbucks stores?(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by seazns
When I originally applied to work here I was thinking of going corporate but now I'm not sure. I want to know what it's like but there's not much information about it? Are you stuck behind a desk at an office for 8 hours? Do you still get all the benefits? Hows work life balance?

I don’t have a 100% answer but just a guess as it’s something i’ve looked into too, but my guess is that it would depend on the position, i think a lot of HR work remotely (idk if it’s from home or from an office), if u go on the career website i think you can sort positions by remote work

often licensed stores are staffed less due to not having a drive through,i believe they still write on cups as well? sometimes they have a different menu (i love the b&n cinnamon tea lol), i dont know much about the management. they are also held to the rules of the store theyre inside, not starbucks company. corporate stores usually have a drive through and depending on your store can have more or less staff, are held to starbucks rules and have the same menu across each store. youd have to ask someone who works at a licensed store for more details, ive never worked at one haha jist corpoate
