My liscensed store got Stsrbucks connect not to long ago and we've got one issue that hurts when there is a rush of people. Is the system supposed to print out a sticker for brewed coffees and brewed teas as well as pastry items that aren't warmed up. Just because this can really screw us up sometimes and it seems like such a simple thing that the system should already be doing

Nope. It’s tricky to remember sometimes but it’s front register’s job to follow café order routine. That includes grabbing hot coffee, hot tea, and unwarmed food during the initial transaction to keep warming and bar partners planted at their positions. It sucks but it’s the standard unfortunately 😔

I’m not sure about Starbucks connect since I work at a corporate store, but fwiw I believe (for corporate, at least) the SM can decide whether to print them or not - we used to print stickers for brewed coffee/tea until our SM decided to officially make it the register barista’s job, which is the standard; we still print stickers for all pastry items even if they’re not warmed, but by standard that’s also the register barista’s job even if there’s a warming barista

also, if it helps at all, we started implementing a change where we get the brewed coffee/unwarmed pastry items BEFORE we process payment - keeps you from forgetting and keeps customers from wandering off while you’re getting their stuff!
