I'm sorry this happened to you too. I'm still struggling sometimes almost 3 months after, it was so upsetting.
Its so jarring that Starbucks cares more about union busting than preserving a community. Schultz didn't hug regulars and watch several break out in tears.

Yep. Had it confirmed by employees at two separate closed stores.

Question: as a customer, what do pro-union or unionizing employees prefer us to do? I’ve been boycotting but is that the way? What about saying my name is Mr. Union-Supporter or something like that when they ask for my name for a cup? I thought that might freak some people out.
Edit: autocorrect

If you see a store is unionizing please try and refrain from going to a different starbucks for coffee! The other stores in the area are undoubtable getting hit with the original store’s regulars.
Tip the baristas you see unionizing! Tell them you support them and ask the ones there what you could do to help :)

Thanks. I’m glad to hear from someone in the inside.

That was my immediate suspicion

Or the continuous crack heads shooting up in the bathrooms

If this were the case, don’t you think more Starbucks’ would be closed for safety concerns?

I know of one where safety was a concern before the store unionized and I think maybe the store unionizing was enough for them to finally lose the store for said safety concerns
