UK-specific Starbucks items a US (NYC) barista should try? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by acnh1222
Hi, I'm going on a two week trip to the UK (London and Glasgow). While I mainly want to go to local coffee shops and support local businesses (any recommendations are appreciated!), are there any UK-specific Starbucks drinks or foods I should make sure to try while I'm there?

Also, I need to know if the Starbucks website is messing with me... Are the refreshers really called $1 there?? As someone who grew up in Boston (our accent is notorious for not saying r's, pronouncing things like Boston Harbor as Bahstin Hahbah) I need to know this.

I went to Europe last month and specifically went to Starbucks in Paris and Germany and the difference is crazy, I tried a cool lime Refresha (tastes like water) but they have so many country specific pastries like in Germany they had pretzels and in france they had so many different donuts and cookies. In Germany I tried this lemon raspberry muffin that was so good omg.

Yeah they’re called refreshas in Europe. The first time I went to a bucks in Switzerland I thought it was a typo lmao
