It is certainly pushing the upper limits of black widow sizes, that’s for sure!

Bug in cup is my favorite thing starbucks baristas do, it’s funny every time
Have_Donut [OP]14 points8m ago
It really is funny every time 😂
lilmissambersue46 points8m ago
Dear God why. And who had the balls to catch it in a cup!!???
Have_Donut [OP]31 points8m ago
Me and another SSV decided to grab it for fun 😂
No_End_735134 points8m ago
For fun? Good lord you are made of much sterner stuff than I am and I used to work as an exterminator.
SlowThePath9 points8m ago
"Ignorance" "sterner stuff" What's the difference?
seacookie892 points8m ago
Lol widows aren't very scary, they just look badass.
claretamazon36 points8m ago
Black Widows are timid and very, very rarely bite. Like you have to grab them and SQUEEZE hard to get them to bite. They prefer to be left alone to hide in dark corners and eat the far more nasty pests.
I hope you let her go outside so she could keep on keeping bugs in check.
stephanonymous43 points8m ago
> They prefer to be left alone to hide in dark corners and eat
TIL I have something in common with black widows
Have_Donut [OP]2 points8m ago
She was safely released back into the wild!
sir_ramen28 points8m ago
What a beaut! I hope you put her outside again. And I hope it stays by the drive through because $1
We did do that! Though I think she is actually too big to fit through the hole!
Deadrax50212 points8m ago
WHY ARE YOU ALL ACTING LIKE THIS IS NORMAL!?!! Please if you don’t mind what state are you located😂
Have_Donut [OP]7 points8m ago
Arizona!
Deadrax50220 points8m ago
I’m now convinced Arizona is just American Australia.
Leo_br00ks5 points8m ago
The whole us southwest is basically Australia with the spiders and snakes. I’m in CO and have run across many black widows in the past few months.
On a different note, so is the mid east coast. Cicadas are fucking wild
BunnieSPH3 points8m ago
The Southwest has many unique creatures but these spiders are extremely common in New Mexico gardens.
I had a handful living in my yard that would kill roaches and other flying bugs and just chilled otherwise.
yirium2 points8m ago
I’m in NC we have black windows here too lol
BatWeary11 points8m ago
my soul would have left my body. i saw a sp*der the size of a penny and i was *sobbing*. and it wasn’t even alive.

Wildflowersatnight2 points8m ago
Arizona I'm guessing? She is a pretty big widow.
Have_Donut [OP]1 points8m ago

welcome2mybog2 points8m ago
OP i love you thank you for being kind and gentle and taking care of her!!!! she’s looking bootylicious ❤️🔥🙏
eye-brows2 points8m ago
aaaaaAAAAAAAAAAHHHH
BunnieSPH2 points8m ago
Black widows should be returned outside to kill bad bugs, they don’t typically bother people.
No, they won’t kill you but the bite hurts like a bitch so wear gloves.
mbarra102 points8m ago
I have such a fear of spiders so if I saw that at work, worst case scenario is I’d pass out 😵
Shoddy-Trainer-80511 points8m ago
I literally screamed. I always joke that if there’s a bug I’ll leave but THAT?! ILL FUCKING LEAVE OUT THE FIRE EXIT IM OUT Bathroom rat was smaller than that
