i feel like my manager never listens to my availability ): i don’t drive so my family usually takes me before they go to work, on their lunch break, and can pick me up after work around 5 and my manager knows this, i have my availability changed in the app and i’ve told her multiple times in person but she’ll schedule me for shifts i can work and then after a few weeks she’ll slowly start going back to scheduling me whenever. i’m scared to talk to her again about it but these hours are really hard for me to work into my/my families schedule /:

transfer to a different store. don’t let a manager ruin your work experience. starbucks can be a fun job at the right store with the right manager. maybe this store isn’t right for u :/

As soon as you see shifts show up on the schedule OUTSIDE of your availability send a screenshot of the shift plus a screenshot of your availability from the SBUXPartnersHrs app and tell the SM you can only work shifts within that timeframe, and ASK them to rectify it. Keep copies of your communications. Do it as soon as you see it posted. Don’t work shifts outside of your availability. Learn now to advocate for yourself it’s the only way not to be a doormat in this type of job.
