having issues at new location (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Top_Combination6969
Hi! Does anyone have any advice for me, im having some issues getting adjusted to a new location that i recently transferred too. i used to work at a different location out of state and im a fairly new partner (around 5 months) so it was a miracle i still got my job however, when i transferred i feel like my new shifts discourage me to ask about stuff like prep etc. IE today i was asked to do cold brews and didnt know how to do them as i was always an opener for my other store and the shift i had rolled her eyes and said seriously. Idk if im just being paranoid or something but its very frustrating and discouraging. I know theyre doing it to even more recent partners including trainees as well.

some people just have an attitude problem lmao. i went to a different store over the summer and it took a month or so before i started feeling comfortable with the people there. i've been a partner for over a year and i still have to ask questions sometimes, same for my coworkers who've been working here for a lot longer than me. don't worry too much about it, but if you keep getting attitude from ppl, talk to your manager about it.
