my sm told me she won’t switch shifts for me on launch week even though I have people ready to cover. her reasoning is to have more people for callouts but if she doesn’t switch me I’m going to call out. can she even bar me from this to begin with?

i think technically SMs get final say in shift swapping/covering and they can say no but idk about the reasoning
