A few months ago our store had a whole meeting to critique the store and stuff. One of the things my SM said was everything we were saying is being recorded on the headsets. I don’t think anyone really believes it because with the amount of time that has past since then a lot of people would be in trouble. I’m bringing this up now because a shift said someone at a different store got fired because of the headset. Apparently a customer heard them say something and reported said partner so corporate looked for the recording. I still don’t believe it because the shift didn’t send a article or even specify where this happened or the name of the partner.

I think ur SM and ur SSV are just dumb
the amount of things our store talks over the headset would have all of us fired by now if they did record

literally. my store would have no SSVs left if they monitored what was said 💀

The headsets are pretty much just little radios. All they are connected to is a transmitter.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the cafes themselves were bugged, but i do not think the actual headsets are capable of recording audio. Not with how dinky they are, constantly breaking etc.

that’s just a threat to scare you. there’s no way they starbucks has the technology to record what’s said on the headsets, they can’t even fix the item availability screen 🙄

The cameras have the ability to record audio, (If I understand correctly) so there’s that.
