We cut it open out of curiosity and it was a centimeter of charred then perfectly fine on the inside…. Not transition layer or anything. It was so weird (we have the new ovens)

Oh wow lol thats interesting. My store still has the old ovens (and old espresso machines). We are so due for some new equipment 😩
