question about health insurance (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by cat_gal
this may seem a bit odd but i was wondering if anyone has been prescribed adhd medication while on a starbucks health insurance plan, how much it would take out of my paycheck, etc. i've been a partner for over a year and im considering going with one of the plans to get medicated, but i haven't really seen anyone talk about adderall or vyvanse, just antidepressants. any help would be appreciated:)

Any medication costs or copays will not come out of your check. You pay for the actual plan itself thru sbux, but nothing else will show up on your check. Any copays and med costs will also vary greatly by plan choice and region, there’s no way for anyone here to give you estimates. You can try calling the benefits line and they can explain the plans and medication tiers to you.

It’s just a way to get insured. All the medication costs would be paid by you depending on the specific terms of your insurance plan
