I'm 17 and I've been with Starbucks for 5, almost 6, months. I'm wondering if I'm able to be a trainer. I have no idea what the requirements are so if someone could tell me that'd be great. I also turn 18 in like 3 months, if that's one of the requirements for whatever reason.

Just tell your manager you wanna be one!
I asked to be one and like 2 months later I started being a trainer! I was told they just wanted to see really good consistency and I was good to go after that!

You might want to look at $1, but the tldr version is that you can be a trainer if your manager wants you to train people. You don’t have to be 18.
