They’re gonna ask you like 50 questions which you should answer to the best of your ability and then give you a list of doctors you can go to to get evaluated for a potential worker’s comp claim or medical leave

That’s probably just their way of telling you to use your judgment about your injury bc nothing may come out of filing and you’ll be in the hook for the expenses.

A partner I worked with injured themselves trying to reach something on the high shelves and their workman’s comp claim was denied because they used a chair instead of a step stool and they were responsible for their own medical bills.

Your next step would be to call Sedgwick… you only have iirc 48hrs to file so I’d get on that as soon as possible. The first step after speaking to them is going to whichever facility they tell you for a professional evaluation. Nothing can move forward until that happens.
