That sounds like a food safety issue. Hot brewed coffee does not have to be kept at the same temp standards as milk.

Okay okay so this shift has only been a shift for about a month and had never made and she assumed that you would be able to ring it in the same way as a coffee traveler so that's why she accepted it :/ but the lady who ordered it came in and was super nice and understand so we just made her individual hot chocolate and everything worked out I guess 🫡

We used to make hot chocolate travelers at this little coffee shop I used to work at. We had giant steaming pitchers for hot chocolate and latte travelers. It was hell.

we do not. Pls don't do that. the travelers aren't made for it and it would be extremely difficult and time consuming, but to mention there's no way to ring that up

edit: i'm glad you guys weren't yelled at but i hope your shift knows she needs to do a little more training on what we can and cannot accept. (like no ice shaken espressos, no warming things with icing, etc.) bc it could easily turn out very bad next time something gets accepted but is not something we can safely do bc some customers are literally demon spawn
