Isn't there a rule where you can go home if the shift comes late to open? (self.starbucksbaristas)

My shift almost came 30 mins late (Opening) and it got me thinking of what I heard in my previous store that if the shift / manager doesn't come within 30 mins you can freely leave the premise (Go home) and not get a write up.

I’m not sure but I’d say I’d go home after 45 mins. Make sure you get paid for waiting in the parking lot.
