Cute barista at my local starbucks store doesnt wear a nametag. I wanna make conversation and ask her name but I feel like theres probably a reason she chooses not to wear it? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Back when I worked there, it was pretty important that you always had your name tag on iirc

She probably doesn't want strangers calling her by name and flirting while she's at work. Don't be that person. Be polite and smile, maybe respectfully compliment something at most, she'll get where you're coming from and return the energy if she's interested. If she's not, accept it and move on. Not trying to be harsh or rude, but just trying share some insight and advice. Take it or leave it.

Nah, ask her out. Come every day and tip $5 just to her so she notices you. Also make your drinks super complicated so the moment you put a mobile order, she will know it’s you. Condition her to remember you, trust me bro.

Then leave her alone. That’s creepy.
