Manager changing my schedule/hours the week of (self.starbucksbaristas)

Like the title says, my manager has been adjusting and changing my schedule the week of or even sometimes the day before. No notice is given to me for approval of it or not. And I’m unclear about this being allowed if the policy says notice must be given especially if everyone is being required to download the partner hours app now.
What should I do other than maybe the obvious and telling them to stop and to follow policy, but what if this new app gets thrown back at my face? Sometimes my phone won’t even alert me at all that the app has been updated about my schedule and I figure it out the day of on the stupid DCR.

That sounds like a bad management problem. Once the final schedule is posted, no changes should be made without the express permission of the people whose schedule you're changing. They should consider at the opposite of making you have to get their permission to switch shifts with someone.

My manager has been doing this too and I confronted her - she sad scheduled hours are not promised and there’s nothing saying they can’t change at a whim. EVIDENTLY (as someone told me) Managers get bonuses for lower hours so it’s the season where I think there’s a push for them to cut hours 🤔🤨
