i just put my 2 weeks in, but I have 32 hours sick time. Is there anyway I can use them or cash them out?

Wrote them down in the Daily Records Book under Punch Communications for this week of 10/24-10/30 with the abbreviation of S for sick. You can also do the same thing with your Vacation hours!

Yeah this doesn’t work. Starbucks doesn’t allow cashing out of vacation or sick time. Sick time should have been milked prior to putting in two weeks.

You can cash out your vacation time by writing it in the punch log to supplement your hours or by getting a full vacation pay out after you quit.
Its only sick time that has rules for how its used and gets forfeited after separation.

I’m just speaking from experience as I had a few ex coworkers do this and it worked for them, but definitely could not be the case as well for other stores 🤷🏼♀️

I mean technically a manager could do it, but would be risking their job. This could be seen as fraud and cost SM their job

Vacation hours are definitely paid out at the end when you quit.

I kno vacation time is paid out but not sick time. Unless u somehow find ways to use ur sick time before ur outta there but i dont kno much about that part, i just kno that they do pay out vacation time once u leave

they surprisingly cash out your vacation time. sick time is not paid
