So each location has different ordering schedule. I’ll explain as best I can based on my store. We get an Indy and Chicago order every other day, and we get a Nashville order every week. That every other day order has the stuff we go through the most of (milks, SAR, cold brew and pike, vanilla, etc) coming from Indy, and lunch food coming from Chicago. The weekly order has basically all the other supplies—syrups we use less of, retail stuff, small wares, etc.
Your every other day order should be fairly straightforward. First put up all the crap you received. Check your receipt to make sure you got the stuff you were meant to, bc sometimes you don’t get everything and if you’re missing an item you want to go adjust the receipt to keep your store from paying for that item in its budget. You can adjust the receipt in IMS. So for me, under “action required” on an Indy order day I’ll see two Indy related entries. There will be a link to the receipt for me to adjust, and a suggested order for me to adjust and then approve. This should be the same for whatever city your 2 day order comes from. You’ll figure out what milks to order from the milk count chart in the book. Everything else, you should have a par for in the back. So once you’ve put up all your crap, you should be able to see that, for example, you have 25 bottles of vanilla but your par is 30 so you need to order a case of vanilla. You’ll see what items you should be checking on that suggested order.
The weekly order is somewhat the same with some extra steps. For the syrups and stuff you have a par for, you’ll be ordering to that par, and those things will be on the suggested order for you to know to check. But you also need to check on the store’s supply of other stuff: off the top of my head, cleaning supplies, day dots, smallwares that y’all might have broken and need more of, new aprons and hats to have on hand for green beans, water softener salt, paper products, etc. Those things may not be on the suggested order so you may have to add them on separately.
I hope that helps somewhat
