Depends what you told them afaik. Unexpected sickness or I believe (and someone check me on this) unexpected injury as well DO NOT require you to find coverage. You call the store, let them know, and you’re done.

Guilt tripping is a nasty tactic, and you should not be fooled into coming into work when you’re not well!
