do you mean the Clean, Safe & Ready cards?
at my store, honestly we don’t always remember to use them, especially if everyone on the floor is pretty experienced and knows the routines.
but when we do use the CSR cards, we deploy them for the given timeframe (Open-11, 11-2, 2-4, 4-Close) for the corresponding position (I might be misremembering the station names but POS gets warming, brewing, food case; bar gets espresso, cold bar, draft; playcaller gets playcaller, store walk, back of house, etc). so the opening ssv would pull all the Open-11 CSR cards and hand them out. the barista at that station/position works on the listed tasks in their downtime between customers/orders; when all the tasks on the card get completed, the barista puts it back in the organizer on the “completed” side and takes the next one (11-2) from the “to do” side, and so on throughout the day.
we also added some items to the cards based on our store’s routines. for example, the Open-11 Espresso card has “bar parts” and “syrup pumps” added since that’s when we aim to complete those tasks.
