So I’ve heard a rumor going around that when they bring in credit card tips we are gonna be asked to get rid of tip jars. Is this true? We do way more business at our store in cash than we do in card! I especially see this as being a problem in the DT. Idk maybe it’s wrong someone plz clarify!!!!

I do tips at my store and haven’t been told we’ll be asked to get rid of tip jars. My SM did imply that my job might get easier as there may be more people who will just tip with card rather than cash, so less cash to count/distribute. But I’m curious if anyone else has been told otherwise. I don’t see how they could have us get rid of the tip jars. There have been days when ours didn’t get put back in drive thru and customers still hand me their tips anyways
