non-rehireable status expires after 6 months? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by idealgothgf
I saw a tik-tok comment from someone saying that even if you were seperated, your non-rehire status goes away after 6 months? Is that an urban myth ? It seems too good to be true. I know I could always sit down and make a case with the SM of the store I want to work at and explain myself but I guess I just wanted to know if this was true at all.

Nah it never technically goes away. It’s stays in your file and has to be read to the hiring manager when they look into said file. You can always reach out to the store you’re interested in and introduce yourself and tell em you left on a rocky grounds at your prior store. I hired a partner that had a no rehire status and they’re an absolute gem

If you find out, please let me know. I've got a terrible mgr who, when they're not busy driving partners to quit in droves, is more than happy to take the most draconian approach and write up/fire partners at the drop of a hat; I think I'm next.
