Hello! Barista Trainer here! Today it was time to practice working on window while I was taking orders (tomorrow it’s his last day of training so he is getting extra practice on places where he feels he needs it the most we are staying on bar tomorrow, so I was taking orders and everytime he needed help I would ask a coworker to finish taking the order) so this lady tries to order this modified ice espresso drink and adds a bunch of stuff , and everyone is aware that a lot of people do that to pay less, but she added so much stuff it ended being a little expensive so she got mad when I told her the price.

So she finally arrives at window where the person I’m training is at and he accidentally confuses the drinks and gives her the wrong one( which we all have done more than one time I’m sure) and this lady just gets pissed and start rolling her eyes, and he apologized about the mistake and he was going to get the correct drink like that poor guy got stressed with that lady, so I told him to not worry I will deal with the situation.
I apologized about the mistake and give her the correct drink and that lady got mad that her drink ended being more that what it would be if she just orders a PSL and that the poor boy confused the drink and gave her the wrong one and she was just being plain rude.



Some people never worked on costumer service jobs and it shows.
