How to put in 2 weeks? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’m putting in my 2 weeks tomorrow. How do I do it? Do I just put a note in her box and text her to let her know? Is it rude to text her? I never work with her so it’s not like I can tell her In person. Thanks!

Call, email, leave a physical notice if she’s in often enough to see it, if you really aren’t able to get a hold of her then yeah you can text. As long as you give a notice and leave in good standing, you’re fine.

Is it rude to text? I was thinking of leaving a note then sending her a a text to make sure she sees it. I’ll be leaving in good standing, im just worried she will be super upset. I am one of her main closers. What should I do if she gets super upset about me quitting?

That’s gonna vary manager to manager honestly. You can leave a note and send a text saying that you left something for her.
As for her getting upset.. just remember it’s not your problem. People leave. If there’s any type of retaliation be sure to document it and reach out to PRC. Even though you’re leaving, you shouldn’t have to spend your last two weeks walking on eggshells.
