Did anyone have to sign a new policy stating we can only have two piercings in the ear?(self.starbucksbaristas)

There's no way they can enforce it imo, dress code isn't exactly a fireable offense. Every job I've had someone bring it up I tell them I ordered clear retainers and just waiting for them to come in and I have yet to place the order after all these years

apparently it is if you’re a union organizer lmao. someone from buffalo ny unionized store was fired for wearing a non-sbux pin that said “you are not alone” with interlocking pinkies.

Sounds like that union needs to do some more negotiating tbh
clouds1835 points8m ago
corporate won’t come to the negotiating table, no contracts have been made yet lmao. union busting doesn’t stop once you win an election.

exactly, i wish people would realize this. winning the union won’t change anything until you sign a contract, which can take ages

I’ve gotten a corrective action from a new manager who had some things against me because I would call her out. My violation, wrinkled pants 🙃

Report them to your dm for retaliation that’s what I would do

My dm was on her side that store went through some shit tbh lmao

The Dress code only limits ear piercings that they must be smaller than a quarter
Facial piercings are limited to one, no larger than a dime

No lol. I have 4 on my left ear and one on my right and my SM is chill. If they do this I’m gonna be pissed

i mean, all my ssvs have 5+ ear piercings and we haven’t heard anything from sm or dm about it

One of my SSVs wears three pairs of earrings every single day and no one’s ever said anything to him!
