Lol actually happened to me before. Once in a while, this lady comes into my store and orders at the register. One day it was super extremely slammed. She comes in and orders 13 or 16 drinks (forget the exact number but it was either one of those) but we cranked out most of em fast. Literally had 2 more left i was working on...mind u, while it was slammed. And she goes "theres still 2 more drinks" lmao its not like i told her "there ya go! Have a good day" so obviously i wasnt done yet. But they were coming out at a pretty steady pace but she only decides to say something when i got 2 left to go? Lol i took my time on those last 2. Not too much but like i definitely didnt crank them out as fast as the other 10 or so

They don’t see/care how hard you’re busting your ass and can’t read the room, all they can understand is they’ve been waiting a while and they don’t like this scary feeling.

Cuz theyre the main character in life and all they kno is "I paid and I'M waiting for a drink" but they have zero situational awareness and they don't think that maybe others are ordering from the same store as them...either at the same time or before. They cant compute that in their heads because like the other commenter said, they just kno that theyre expecting something from us and nobody else exists to them 🙄
