So I get paid on Thursday mornings due to my direct deposit but Friday night I got an additional direct deposit for a different amount that isn’t showing up on my pay stubs? It’s a significant amount of money and I’m extremely confused because it was pending last night and completely went through this morning…help I’m anxious 😂

If you didn't notice, you didn't notice. Someone made an error, you weren't looking for it. You don't keep that close an eye on deposits. How are you supposed to know it was there/extra/error?
Personally after the way starbucks treated me, I have a f--- em attitude and champion you to keep it. It's not stealing, someone made an error, that's not your fault. You 'didn't notice' anyway, or if you did you just assumed it was backpay for training or coverage at w different store, a new way they're doing tips or time spent at the grocery store to get a dozen gallons of milk etc.
But I wouldn't bring it up first. Dont be anxious, just sit on it for awhile, you don't want to spend it and then it's brought up by someone and it's all gone, you can't pay it back and it's gotta come out of your future checks etc. Don't stress just let it chill out and see what happens

Are you a shift manager, you'd be in Massachusetts or the one area in Tennessee. Shift managers get bonuses.

I had this happen to an employee at a different company and the company realized its mistake a week or so later and they ended up oweing the money back.
They had 2 options- They could consider it an advance on their next earned paycheck and they get less next paycheck or they could pay the money back directly to accounting at the corporate office. Unfortunately he spent it and it was a rough situation for a bit.
If not saying that you should say something, but I would put it in savings and not touch it in case they figure it out and then you can play it off as you didn't realize it.

That's out of your control. All we do is clock in. SM submits payroll and they have to send the pay. It's their fault if you got more. You don't need to do anything
