First of all, go to r/Starbucks. Secondly, if you want two drinks then pay for two drinks. You get what fits into one cup.

We are taught to not give the customer more of the product. You paid for a venti frap, not a venti frap + a tall frap

Imagine having such disposable income you spend $15 on one drink then get mad that we don’t want to break policy when you’re probably rude and don’t tip.
celestialnight9948 points8m ago
A venti frap is 26 oz. You are paying for a 26 oz cup. Not any more. You are not entitled to anything except 26 oz of drink. You definitely sound like the asshole. You’re asking baristas to break policy. Take your venti drink and leave. If you want more, order a tall Frappuccino as well.
noimpatrick18 points8m ago
Sorry, you paid for a Venti cup, a venti cup is 24 ounces- thats all you get.
iJayWyd7 points8m ago
The coffee is blended into the drink therefore it will be evenly distributed throughout. You paid for a venti Frappuccino, assuming it was filled to the top, you got what you paid for.
Pinki6996-18 points8m ago
Well honestly I paid for extra shots in my coffee and want what I paid for. Why is it hard to pour that remaining into a cup?
neilgreenbreen12 points8m ago
You paid for the contents of the cup. You did not pay for the contents of the pitcher. If you want more, buy another cup. Or better yet, make it at home yourself since this was such an overwhelming ordeal for you
aee784 points8m ago
It's against standards. Policy is you pay for one drink, you get what fits in the cup size you pay for.
iJayWyd-1 points8m ago
It’s not hard, just make sure you ask nicely and remember the baristas have other things they need to work on. It might also help if you ask for the leftovers to be put into a separate cup when you order it
neilgreenbreen4 points8m ago
This is against policy but I *would* do it for a nice customer who tipped. Something tells me OP is not a nice customer
Pinki6996-8 points8m ago
I do ask nicely, when ordering and they relay it to whoever is fixing it. Most of the time it's straight attitude from them. They act like I'm stealing 15 coffees.
neilgreenbreen7 points8m ago
You are not entitled to us breaking policy. Take your full cup that you paid for and leave. If you want more, pay for more. End of story.
iJayWyd5 points8m ago
Probably because you’re not entitled to the excess, but they still give it to you out of kindness. The amount leftover will depend on the liquid ratio (milk, coffee, syrup, base) that the baristas put in. You just get what fits in the cup.
TurkeySub94 points8m ago
Girl with the amount of shots you're adding to it you might as well just get two separate drinks. You'd probably save money and get more bang for your buck. Also, we get annoyed when people aren't clear about their expectations for their drinks. We'd be more than happy to do some annoying shit if the customer is nice about it and is clear with what they want.

I use to run a Target Starbucks and yes we would get in trouble. The Starbuck's DM was always on my store's ass about standards and policy. Please don't send asshole that think they should get it their way to a place that is often staffed by only one person.
kahluavulgaris2 points8m ago
apologies, I don’t know how the licensed stores operate, but I should have thought abt the fact that I’ve never seen more than 2 people working behind the counter at one and that would be annoying AF regardless of policy
aee781 points8m ago
No problem, and I do know that a lot of the licensed stores ended up being staffed by people that get burnt out or were never trained correctly and are like fuck it just get out of my face. The most bizarre thing is the licensed store all have different contracts, so what went for Target, doesn't go for the hospital ones. Not sure if the Macy's and Barnes and Noble ones are run similar to Target or not. And there are plenty of corporate stores that employees don't follow standards. It's just rough when you're the only person working and someone comes in expecting you to break the rules for them.

To answer your question, yes you're the asshole. One you are asking minimum wage works to break company policy for you. Then you come and bitch about said works on a forum that only meant for the workers. And three the amount of punctuation and abbreviations you use, clearly shows you have an attitude about the entire thing. Every customer I've ever had that not only can't be bothered to read AND thinks they know how to do the job better then is always a major asshole. Try asking for a latte blended with light milk and ice. When I make myself a blended ice coffee, I use a size smaller scoop and 95% will fit in the cup. It will be runny as hell as that many shots melt the ice in general.
