How does your store date pastries?(self.starbucksbaristas)

Within my store the morning crew dates pastries so usually it’ll be two days from that morning. I’ve also seen shifts date when they pull. Which way does your store do it?

My night shift crew does not date…I only noticed this today after seeing pastries dated this morning for 11/2……….which I noted as wrong.

You date them when they are pulled

Date for two days when pulling. If you wait until the next day after they've been pulled then one day.
Examples
Pulled from freezer on Sunday and dated immediately for Tuesday.
Pulled from freezer Sunday and dated Monday morning, still for Tuesday.

It's 2 days from when they are pulled. So if your night shift is pulling and not dating, they still expire from when they pull. Sometimes when I open I'll do an emergency pull if we're out of something when I walk in and just pull the box and write the date on it. Then I go back and date them individually when there's more people.
