Anybody know the costume policy? I asked my sm and she said refer to the hub. But I’m at home. Can I do that from home? Just want to know if I can wear a ravenclaw uniform.()

Partner hub is accessible from home. As for policy it at the minimum can’t be offensive and has to be good safe.

I find harry potter p offensive ngl

JK Rowling is horrible awful trash. I’m NB and a long time potter fan and I can’t stand her. However, I really don’t think people relate her politics to the costumes. I think it’s a pretty safe costume to go with.

Yeah I was mostly joking. I do love shitting on rowling any chance I get though

Oh me too, last night my friends new boo was wearing a Slytherin cape and I took the chance to rip on him about how I’m canceling him and then we talked about her many offenses lol. All had a good laugh in the end though so I think this is one of the few cases where separating artist from art is acceptable. She’s not making any money off this person wearing a old raven claw costume sitting in their room lol. Halloween stores don’t even sell her stuff anymore.

I feel like JK Rowling is a weird situation in which it is for some people actually possible to practice the death of the author

because of the transphobic author?
neilgreenbreen7 points8m ago
That and the garbage writing :P but mostly the Nazi author, yes
ezranilla-1 points8m ago
Nazi?

I think it’s such a mixed opinion thing that it probably wouldn’t be a hard no but it would be good to be conscious of your fellow partners and feelings on it.

I know parts of the partner hub can be accessed on non-Starbucks devices (pay stubs, personal info, etc) but can internal documents like weekly updates and policies be accessed on personal devices?
Flowerfuls1 points8m ago
Not weekly updates. Partner handbook maybe, might have to dig a little.

Just so long as you don't violate food safety, run around half naked, or do something crazy controversial and political you should be good.
For food safety, basically don't get glitter or nails or anything in the drinks.
PoppyPancakes7 points8m ago
Has to follow dress code safety. No full face masks or paint. Nothing offensive, political, religious, or sexy. It was in last weeks weekly update. You should be able to access the hub from your phone
