first bad customer interaction as a green bean (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hi everyone, fellow partner here. I just wanted to share my less than enjoyable experience with a family today who tried to get me fired.
We were moderately busy and the line was starting to get long. The family ordering wanted two venti refreshers with cold foam, I tapped it in and read them their total and the father tries to intimate me by going "that isn't 10$ you're scamming us, nobody pays 10$ for two drinks." I calmly responded with a neutral tone "I'm sorry, I dont control the prices of our companies beverages." (I am the only male worker most of the time and so my voice comes across as condescending or monotone when really it's just my way of speaking.) For some reason he flipped out, and started yelling. For context, I know this family, and I wont go into detail, but they've been rude at more than one establishment I've worked at, so I kept my calm. My manager was behind me so I turned around and switched positions from front to drive while I listened to this family scream about me. My manager talked to me afterwards and had me show her what I did when I put in their order, we genuinely couldn't find an answer besides accidentally charging for the milk, (70 cents) but I even had that put in correctly. At the end of the interaction their total was still almost 15$ so I genuinely don't understand haha.
