LOA for mental health?? (self.starbucksbaristas)

So, I'm a kind of fresh green bean. Started in August. But my mental health has gotten awful, to the point where I'm considering admitting myself.
Can I do a LOA for that reason?? I know SBUX claims they're supportive of mental health, but would they deny my request?

You can do LOA for mental health. Especially if your admitting yourself. Talk to your store manager to get the Sedgwick info for an LOA. I had to do a mental health leave for the exact same reason of mental health. I wouldn’t think they would reject the LOA

were you able to take a paid LOA? i was having trouble finding info on paid vs unpaid. my manager is new and an outside hire so he doesn’t know. i just can’t afford to not be working, and my other job does not do paid LOAs for my position

LOA are unpaid for. From my knowledge. I didn’t get paid for my leave
