Clueless clients (self.starbucksbaristas)

Why are the clients getting worse and worse ? Before we would get an occasional client who would say things like “a medium vanilla latte with no vanilla” but now it’s everyday, multiple times a day. “A venti caramel frappucino with no caramel but moka instead”, “a small moka with no moka”, “a grande chai latte with no milk” ! What’s going on?! Why is it so much worse now than it used to be! And when we try to correct them they get mad and think we are the crazy ones !

Often its for the app with the star dashes. People have to order certain drinks to get the points, but its not what they want, so they modify it so it both gets them the points and is something they want to drink.

Cappuccino with no foam. Still gets me every time.
But possibly because of the mobile order and so they order it how they would usually order it thru MOP.
If they said vanilla latte with no vanilla, I’d go so you just want a latte then and kinda go passive aggressive then add a little laugh in the end

The other day I watched my SSV have a whole entire argument with a customer over a chai latte. They asked for a brewed chai tea, but with only steamed milk and very little water. But they didn't want the tea bag, they wanted the concentrate. But when we rung them up for a chai latte they demanded that it be a brewed chai tea. Eventually they gave in and understood why it was a ridiculous ask but it was a whole challenge to get it that point.

We've also been getting a lot of people ask for fraps with no ice. I don't think people know that most (if not all) corporate locations don't sell the bottled frapucinnos.
