does the college through Starbucks thing apply to those who want to take one or two classes after already receiving their bachelor's degree from another institution? (self.starbucksbaristas)

For some context, i have a Bachelor's degree as a double-major in English and Theatre, Film, & Media Studies. I don't know if i want to do a full masters yet or even at all and i know Starbucks doesn't *technically* cover that. However, what I do know is that I am missing two pieces of course training/knowledge in either one of those fields that my school didn't offer and didn't require, but that many job opportunities in my areas of interest do require. In each case, I would be either teaching myself off the cuff or enrolling in a class. Since I'm someone who prefers and kind of needs that external structure, I'd rather take classes to learn these skills (Vectorworks/AutoCAD or AP style writing) as opposed to getting lost in the weeds on my own.

Would that be something that Starbucks would cover in that case? Or am I better off just biting the bullet on a MasterClass subscription for those?

I believe it’s only for the first bachelor’s.

As Neil said, no unfortunately it doesn’t cover courses if you already have a bachelors, as someone with masters looking to go back and switch career paths, I definitely understand wishing there was something for us. I would also say, having previously worked as an online admissions advisor for ASU online (the college program Starbucks works with) I’m almost positive they don’t have any AutoCAD programs, but I could definitely be wrong. I worked for the social services programs so I’m better familiar with those, but we had to know all programs offered to know which group to send prospective students over to. Is it possible to look at a local community college to take a few classes to figure out what is best for you, but also save money?

That's what I'm thinking my next step is. If not that, then MasterClass. 😵‍💫
