How did you feel when you first started at Starbies?

300xxxx here, i started out really loving it and have slowly grown to hate it. i was lucky enough to get hired at the perfect store, i had a great team, made some amazing friends, and was able to get the hours/pay i need. just transferred recently due to having moved a few hours away and it’s really hard to enjoy my job anymore. not only is it the store, but the recent politics of the company overall have become a huge turn off, and it’s upsetting to see where starbucks is headed. i can barely pay rent now, my hours are cut constantly, and my pay went down when i moved. it sucks to see how it’s being handled right now

when i first started, i loved my job. saw myself becoming a shift at one point. i kind of resent it now though (and have decided i will never become a shift lmfao fuck that).

i’d hate my job wayyy less if my DM wasn’t so up the ass about drive times and cc scores. we’ve been getting shit hours too so we’re almost as understaffed as we were over the summer 😒 if they’d just back off the unrealistic drive times, cc scores and give us adequate staffing we’d be so much happier. oh, and give us lids that actually fit the cups and machines that don’t break 4x a week.

Overwhelming at first, then gradually got better to a point I could do the job with my eyes closed. That’s when I started to look forward to coming into work. Then towards the end it was a love-hate relationship with Starbies.
