Just a reminder that yeah, systemically the military is bullshit, but individuals are statistically the poorest in our country who were preyed upon by recruiters so that they could get an education. Don’t shit on service members, shit on our country’s leaders.

i think people in the military are the most entitled people i know . the only times i would have empathy & compassion are for the elderly people . but if you’re rude about it , then no . fuck off . you made a choice to go into the military , why should you be given free shit for a choice you made ? just take the tall pike and get on you merry little way .

As a navy vet and a current partner these comments are harsh! I understand disliking people who are demanding and entitled but that’s going to be ANYONE. I don’t want recognition or praise, I did it for myself. I never ask for discounts or free stuff but if someone’s offering? I mean who doesn’t like a little free drink or meal??
