Got a written coaching for something I didn’t do (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Blondeeeelatte
I told my manager that I wanted to transfer, and he told me that he “had to” give me a written coaching for something that happened over a month ago. He wasn’t present and took the word of the partner that called him over mine. I was given the written coaching because of “continuing behavior” all which has always been told to him by the same partner who had called him, and has blatantly disliked me since I was hired shortly after her. I signed the paper, but I feel like I shouldn’t have. The whole reason for me transferring is because she creates situations like that to get me in trouble. Some people are telling me I should bring it to the DM. Any advice? Also how long do I now have to wait to transfer?

If you signed the paper you don’t have a lot of recourse except to maybe call your DM or ethics and explain the situation. I wouldn’t be super optimistic about their response though.
And you have to wait 6 months from your last write up to transfer I believe

Not a write up though, it was a written coaching which is a step below a write up

Hmm. I’m not really sure how the hierarchy works. I’d call PCC regardless

Call the PPC and your DM. Explain that you want to transfer because of that specific Barista AND that it's been that Barista who brings all your "short comings" to your SM. That in itself is sketch.
