what should i be prepared for on holiday launch and red cup day? (self.starbucksbaristas)

it’s my first time working for the holiday thing and i’ve heard different things but i’m still a bit confused? i’m not sure what toppings go with the new drinks because i wasn’t given much time to learn about that and i’ll also be working on red cup day which is also confusing to me 😭 (sorry if i sound stupid i just want to be prepared) i also am not sure about the red aprons bc i’ve heard we wear it for the holiday season but i wasn’t given one and launch is tomorrow.. 🤔

Deff should’ve been givin a red apron O.o but they’re not to keep so maybe you’ll get one tomorrow. I’m at a 10k a day store and were prepared for all hell to break loose. Obvi it’ll differ depending on how busy your store is but holiday launch and red cup day are the biggest days of the year imo.
Chocolate curls:w the chocolate drink(pep mocha)
Red and white: w white chocolate drink (tsd wm)
Crunchy topping: chestnut praline
Red and green: sugar cookie
Cacao powder: Irish cold brew

my store didn't get enough this year/last year so I didn't get one and ended up buying a pair on ebay. she wanted us to "share" the few red aprons last year. I said he'll naw and bought my own since it was my first holiday

My first time working on bar for holiday launch, I had to have someone cover for me so I can stop having a panic attack from overstimulation. As horrible as it was at the time it made me such a better bar partner towards the end of the season because I could actually hold my own. Just keep your head up and don’t let mistakes hold you down. It’s just coffee after all

that’s what i’m really scared of 😭 i’ve quietly cried on bar a lot during rushes because it’s so much.. from the constant dinging noises and the stickers that keep coming out and never end ..i really don’t wanna be put on bar for the first day of the holiday launch
