when they do that to us we totally don’t mark out everything on item availability, because that would be very wrong.

in all seriousness, we at least mark out frap bases if anything because fraps can very quickly back you up. it really depends on your manager but we’ve never gotten in trouble for marking everything out in my experience

Your dm is full of shit. You can 100% turn off mobiles, they just didn’t want to do it for more revenue even at y’all’s and the customers expense. If they pull some shit on y’all again just don’t rush the drinks. Enough people will complain and you or an ssv can explain to your sm/dm why.

Same thing happened to my store. One espresso bar working, and I’m brand new and was soloing. Plus both ticket machines were still printing and i didn’t know the second one was printing because they said they turned it off 💀 I cried the second I left the store after my shift.

Edit: took out the extra “bar” I added in my sentence🙃

Hahahaha that’s such a fucking lie. They avoid turning mobiles off at all costs obvi but my ASM literally did it the other day bc they were down two people for peak (so only 6 people were in the floor for a high volume DT store) and they had a $900, 90 customer half hour OUT OF NOWHERE. So he stepped off to have mobiles turned off for an hour so they could actually catch up and not have a constant hoard of people waiting for drinks. My manager told him he shouldn’t have done it but she also understood why at the same time. Fuck your DM and SM and hand out their business cards to anyone who complains lmao.

Also if your bar has been down for a few days and your DM and manager have done nothing to support it getting fixed faster and of feeling no support in general you should call ethics bc that’s fucked up.

This happened to me. I am a SSV and I had two partners from 2pm till 10:30pm the first and second night of the July tuesdays whatever percent off beverages it was. I was told they don’t turn off mobiles anymore. Not allowed. However for a morning shift with 5 person peak they turned mobiles off for themselves. On a regular day it was. We are a fast paced drive thru store with the most sales in our district might I add. 😡

they’re lying to you because you can absolutely turn off mobiles, this is coming from someone who works at a high volume store. the only thing is they took away our uber eats tablet, so we can’t turn them off.

You're DM is lying. You absolutely can turn off mobiles. We turned them off last week while one of our mastrenas was being worked on.
