It’s the first day of holiday launch. i lucked out and got a princess shift but it was just busy, stressful, a lot of annoying questions, and just not off to a good start, not to mention call outs and lines. Anxiety is getting the best of me and even tho i been a barista six months now , i feel worried that if day one was this bad what’s the rest of the year gonna be like ? 🤧🤦🏽♀️

it's going to be chaotic still but most people were excited for day one, it shouldn't be as bad as today (hopefully and the exception is red cup day). a lot of people thought that today was red cup day as well so that might have been some of the overwhelming business.
also congrats on making it through :) my store is a very busy drive through and we ran the whole morning with only 5 people so i can sympathize with the stress of it all
